Fling File Transfer makes it much easier to copy all sorts of contents from one place to another. The software's automated features can prove to be quite useful if you need to upload and maintain files on a website, through a FTP, on a regular basis, back up data or transfer files for other reasons. It places a good number of configuration possibilities at your disposal and it is quite easy to use.

The software is free to try, without any significant limitations. It works on all popular Windows versions and it is compatible with both 32 and 64-bit variants. Installing the program doesn't take long and you don't have to install any prerequisite tools, but you will have to reboot your computer once the operation is complete.

Fling File Transfer lets you create multiple file transfer profiles and execute them independently. Each profile is linked to a local folder, in which you can store data to copy or upload it in various ways. When creating a profile, you can set the program to upload all files from the local folder to a website, using a FTP, to back them up between hard drives or over a network, to copy them to a USB drive and more.

There are several ways of triggering a transfer profile. The simplest method is to start it manually, by right clicking the files in the aforementioned folder and selecting an Upload option. Alternatively, you can set the program to start a transfer automatically if new contents are added to a Fling folder or if existing ones have been modified. Of course, you can fine tweak a profile, to avoid erasing or overwriting files.

Pros

Files can be transferred or uploaded immediately, with little or no user input. The software is quite flexible when it comes to defining transfer profiles.

Cons

There are no clear drawbacks to mention. Regardless of how much data you need to transfer each day, Fling File Transfer can make your work significantly easier.
